Handcrafted with love these “Mood stone” earrings are a spin on an old 70’s favourite mood stone ring, I had mood stone ring in the 80’s and still have it now, it’s magic however no longer works but it was a piece I treasured dearly, still do and just had to recreate the treasure with my own spin…
Description: Sterling silver, and mood stone.
Size: 1 x 1950 & 1 x 1951 Three pence coin 15mm wide, 2 x 10mm round mood stone cabochons both set on Australian Three pence coins, wrapped in Sterling silver gallery wire, with SBD©️tag for authenticity and originality.
Mood stones were created by two inventors from New York — Joshua Reynolds and Maris Ambats — creating mood rings in 1975.
They claimed that their mood rings would change colors as wearers' moods or emotional states changed.
